Even a vintage collector has to make room for a new season. Stop in for great deals on vintage clothing and the last of our summer savings.

Our pale yellow vintage dress was made for the hazy, lazy days of August. Keep it zipped up to your collarbone, or unzip at your discretion for a little breeze. There’s no tag, but we estimate the size to be a medium. This dress is likely homemade, its delicate woven pattern stitched together for someone special several decades ago.

This lightweight number is paired with a vintage Coach cross-body bag and a silver silhouette necklace from Lanyapi Designs.

A little fun shot from our photo shoot/happy hour last night. The pleat-front skirt is part of the Nana line ($98). It’s made from a blend of organic cotton & hemp striped material and sewn in Washington, DC by Bits of Thread Studio. We are having fun pairing it with all sorts of tops to create funky or polished outfits. Daisy’s beautiful ice ring is on our lovely model’s right hand ($44). All items are in the shop now. Thanks to some recent collaboration with a two talented ladies, the shop is looking soooo pretty. Anna Zusman, designer & window dresser extraordinaire, created this lovely paper party in our window. We love the colors she chose & how it all came together to look lush & lovely. Our mannequins look party ready now!

Anemone Design‘s Carrie Anne Seaver has been adding all sorts of polish to the shop lately. She’s crafting a new web site for us & I couldn’t be happier with the progress. She also added perfect touches for in-shop signs and window graphics. Stop by and see our new additions — and don’t forget to scoop up super Summer Sale items. They are going fast!

It’s time for another afternoon where we move aside some racks and triple our vintage collection for one day. Right now, we have this adorable pleat-front skirt in a white-and-black wave pattern ($98). It’s made with an organic cotton & hemp blend so it’s so comfortable & durable:

Frequent visitors are used to seeing this old blue cabinet. We’ve put it in a new place, and surprise! Now it’s full of vintage shoes. Some of these old styles might even be more comfortable than their modern versions…but you’ll have to try them on yourself.

This vintage-inspired look is put together with pleats galore. This peachy-pink blouse used to have an over-the-top lace collar. No more! The modest v-neck and frosted buttons at the cuffs are just enough for this blouse. It’s paired with a skirt by Kim Schalk and a key necklace from Charms City Company, one of a few jewelry lines you can find in our display.
